What is Teflon (PTFE) and what makes it special?
Teflon (PTFE) is a type of fluoropolymer known for its unique properties, combining resistance to friction, chemicals, heat, and electricity. It is non-stick, water-repellent, and self-lubricating!
It is resistant to most chemicals, except for rare cases involving fluorine or alkali metals. It performs efficiently at very high temperatures (from 360°C to 380°C).
